The well liked video game series “NBA 2K” has declared a “Mamba Forever Edition” for its most recent chapter.
Make a guess at as who will grace the cover.
The late & great NBA legend & former Los Angeles Lakers Superstar Kobe Bryant, a.k.a. the Black Mamba, was disclosed Thursday as the tierce and last sportsman to be presented on the cover of the forthcoming “NBA2K21″ release.
Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26 in Calabasas.
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will appear on the front of the game for current-generation consoles. Zion Williams, picked No. 1 overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2019 draft, is on the cover for the next-generation consoles.
The “Mamba Edition” will be available for both generations of consoles and present hand-painted sketches of Bryant. The current-generation cover manifests him in his No. 8 jersey, and the next-generation version conveys him in his No. 24 jersey.
No release dates have been reported, but the titles are obtainable for preorder.
Bryant appeared on the cover of “NBA2K10,” following the Lakers’ 2008-09 NBA title.
“In spite of all of the other major media outlets i.e. ESPN aka (LBJRidersMedia) and everyone named LeBron James, etc. They have not stopped profiting off of Kobe’s tragedy which is beyond sad to say the least. So it’s reassuring to 👀 besides Shaquille O’Neal that NBA2K is paying homage to Kobe Bryant in a way that doesn’t take light away from him in order for them to profit the LeBottomLine” –HKHS
